The frame was perfect once I got everything fixed up!! The frame came with two corner separated from one another. I had to run to ACE to grab some super glue and slightly untighten the two corners to be able to hold them together with the glue. It was a little frustrating having to fix it up after paying 50 dollars but it’s fine. Also I painted the sides of my painting black because the canvas was thicker than the frame and it looks great! I think it makes it blend in so well! After everything was finally put together and it was hung it looks perfect and it’s everything I wanted! I only hated that I had to fix it up to get there.Works fine. Good for the price.These are quality frames for my custom paintings! I don't care if it's wood or plastic Actually, I prefer something really lightweight when hanging my canvases so plastic is fine as long as it looks nice, and this does. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because it was so stinking difficult to get the canvas attached. My canvas is approximately 1/2 inch thick, so I had to find something to bring the canvas forward. Once I did that, the screws were too short to reach the frame of the canvas so I had to buy new ones. Then came the biggest challange: keeping the canvas perfectly centered while trying to put the screws into the back of it. I watched the video and they made it look like it was so easy, but I really struggled with it. Again, if my canvas was thicker this probably would not have been an issue. I finally found something that fit snugly in the spaces on every side so it would stay put while placing the screws. After all that work, I was disappointed because the sides are very thin from the front so it's not as much framed as it is "encased". I would prefer a wider frame. I'm keeping it for now, but will probably end up finding another frame, eventually.Wasn't sure about ordering these based on conflicting reviews but I'm glad I did. My experience is that they were well packaged for shipping and arrived in perfect condition. They look great. They do not come with instructions but there is an instructional video to watch. Not a problem though. How hard is it to mount canvas in a floating frame? Not hard at all.I highly recommend P&L Art store and these frames! These frames are gorgeous and the price is so reasonable for the quality! Additionally, their customer service is outstanding! We had some shipping damage and they responded immediately and very warmly; they didn’t hesitate to make it better and sent out another frame immediately free of charge and no hassle.
