I ordered 2 16x20 and 4 11x14 of these frames for a photo exhibit; it's only my second one and did not want to invest a lot in frames until I knew they would sell (I sold my first one in 2 hours, credit both the photo and the frame).Pluses are finding in-expensive frames that had glass and not plastic, and a bright white mat (it is simple cut and thin, not bevel cut). They came individually wrapped in bubble wrap, which I could re-use when transporting them, and extra paper padding in the package, all arrived in good shape.A few times while inserting the glass, some small black fibers from the frame fell into the frame, so look closely before tightening down all the clips.They look great, anyone who holds it will know it is not a super expensive one, but I like the clean look. People who want fancy framing should pick that out themselves (IMHO). I'm very happy with these.These are actually nice frames, but of the 4 I bought, EACH AND EVERY ONE was DAMAGED. There were nicks and/or scrapes on edges and corners, down to the primer. They are relatively inexpensive so I wasn't expecting too much, I guess I got what I paid for. I used some black marker to color in the white and/or tan areas resulting from the scratches. The nicks were down to the core as well, so at least they're now black thanks to my marker. Since they're going on a wall I doubt anyone will get that close for too long to notice, but because of the damage I am disappointed with these frames. I didn't want to deal with sending them back only to get another damaged set so as I said, I fixed them. Buyer beward.They are pretty good for the price. A little cheap looking if you look too close, but they are as good as any frame you pay $35.00 for at a large arts & crafts store, maybe better. The frame is a shiny black plastic, and it only sticks out from the wall about an inch. They also have real glass, which I prefer because the piece looks crisper, and glass does not scratch as easily as plexiglass. I used this frame for a colorful piece of artwork, but I think it would look great with black and white photos. It also has a mat, the bevel is like that of a two-ply matboard, OK for some purposes, but not as expensive looking as a 4-ply bevel. All in all, a good value frame when you don't want to spend a lot.Got this for a collectible magazine cover that I wanted to frame. I was worried I'd have to rip the cover off the magazine in order to frame it, but the frame holds the entire magazine without any stress on any part of it. I just made sure it was centered and secured with a couple of pieces of scotch tape on the inside (taping across the back side of the front cover and the back side of the white matting) before attaching the backing.It's been on the wall for two years, and nothing's budged. Great frame. I'd buy another anytime.It’s a nice looking frame but did not come with a actual mat, just a white border on the paper picture inside. I guess you’re supposed to cut the picture out and use the paper border as your mat. Still a good frame.It seems like it is a nice frame. It holds what I bought it for. It arrived well packaged but despite that I found quite a long scratch on the back of the frame. Luckily it is on the back so no return necessary. The mat is very nice to change the size of the photo enclosed. Good value for your money.I purchased this 11x14" frame as a gift. As everything with Amazon Prime, it shipped fast and arrived safely. The quality of the frame itself is decent. The matte black wood is solid, but not super high quality. The matte color is standard white which is nice rather than it being egg shell or off-white as with B&W photos, that can alter the appearance of greys.However, what gets this frame 3 stars instead of 5 is the difficulty to hang. On the backside there are 3 triangle hooks. They allow the frame to be displayed in landscape or portrait mode. However, using brads, unless you very carefully measure, level, and install, it's very difficult to hang. Even if you were to do that, aligning the frame on the brads will be tough as the triangle move around freely.My wife and I ended up tying string between the 2 triangles to create a hang wire and hung the frame from one brad. Its not the intended method, but was by far the easiest.Consider this method should you purchase it.The only reason i gave it 4 stars was because I received the product damaged. One of the frames corner had a slight crack, the other perfect fine. Amazon bring great, took care of it right away and free of charge. These are great for the value. Considero que es una muy buena compra.I don’t recommend these frames at all. The frame pulls away from the picture where you hang it, making it look ridiculous. I’ve taped the back (that connects to the frame) to prevent this, but I’m really not impressed. These are not good quality frames.excelente calidad por el precio - no es una maravilla pero cumple con lo que queria y por el tamano y precio es excelente el pasapartout es de buen calidad, lo unico que no me gusto pero por el precio fue solucionable es que lleva dos ganchos atras por el ancho del marco por lo tanto tenia que comprar alambre para poder guindar la, pero en realidad no fue tanto trabajo y compre mas de 10 de estos entre negro y blanco y ahorra casi 5 mil pesos comparado a otros marcos del mismo tamano.I bought 2 of the 16x20 frames for 2 unexpensive embroderies because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on mounting. These frames have real glass and are good value for a modest price. I cut the included matte to fit the embrodereis.
